The Aesthetic is a weekly one-hour radio mixtape curated by the owner of Coraspect Records. Alan has been involved in the Future Funk and Vaporwave scenes since 2018. The show is a blend of both genres along with other subgenres within the scene, and other tracks from their personal library. Inspired by the likes of John Peel and Jonathan L, Alan hopes to bring this scintillating sub-genre and its siblings to a greater audience. The program is broadcast twice weekly on Nashville-area radio station WRFN at 103.7 and 107.1, with the premiere broadcast on Thursdays at 9:00pm Central Time and again on Saturdays at 2:00pm Central Time. I will not knowingly ever play an AI-generated track. If one happens to make it into a set, you can let me know on Bluesky and if I can verify, I will remove it from the archive version.
